FIVE MINUTES TO CHOPS with BABATUNDE LEA at
“MAISON LEUCATE,” SOUTH OF FRANCE RETREAT

Come to “Maison Leucate” in the beautiful village of Leucate in the South of France to study
conga drumming through master drummer, Babatunde Lea’s revolutionary program, Five Minutes to Chops. You will learn to play conga drums at an accelerated pace.

In the mornings Babatunde will facilitate over three hours of five minute conga exercises. In the afternoons, particiapants will concentrate on learning rhythms. Beginning, intermediate and advanced students are all welcome. (Workshop Schedule)

Maison Leucate is an old stone house consisting of 3 unique and comfortable apartments on 3 floors. Stay in one of the apartments for one or two weeks. You may request to share with two others, dormitory style, or reserve a private room with a double bed for yourself or yourself and partner. You may self-cater or eat at a designated restaurant in the village.

The fully equipped, Five Minutes to Chops music room/rehearsal studio is located on the ground floor. The ground floor bedroom may also be reserved should there be a request for disabled accommodation.
