Collective Amnesia is a dynamic and exciting Berkeley jazz
quintet which brings together some of the Bay Area's finest
musicians.
The group invokes elements of traditional jazz, bebop and
modern jazz. The nine new compositions on it's newly released
self-titled CD introduce sounds that have a welcome freshness
and vigor that can only be attained by musicians who have
a special affinity for each other and the music.
The
members of this group are highly regarded freelance musicians
and composers, bringing many unique talents into the fray.
The music expresses the passion of their convictions and
the sincere desire to create a different world through music.
